Specific Vacancies At Present

Virtual Finance Accountant – £20,000 to £25,000 full-time (part-time considered)

You will form part of a team, and will assist in carrying out general bookkeeping and accounting assignments, under the supervision of a manager. Assignments take place mainly in the office and involve a large amount of client interaction. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills are essential. You should have 3 A levels (grades A to C) in relevant subjects, or be AAT qualified or part-qualified, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of bookkeeping and/or purchase ledger in practice or industry, ideally with Xero and Excel. Study support for the AAT qualification will be provided.

Service Charge Accountant – £15,000 to £22,000 full-time (part-time considered)

You will form part of a team, and will assist in carrying out service charge assurance assignments, including some preparation of service charge accounts and statutory accounts. You will report to a manger and/or head of department. Assignments take place in the office and involve a large amount of client interaction. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills are essential. You should have 3 A levels (grades A to C) in relevant subjects, or be AAT qualified or part-qualified. Experience in service charge accounts and/or general accounting is desirable. Study support for the AAT qualification will be provided.

Assistant Practice Manager – £20,000 to £25,000 full-time (part-time considered)

You will assist the Practice Manager in carrying out general office duties, including practice accounting, premises and health and safety management, as well as company secretarial work. The role is office based and involves a large amount of interaction with directors, staff, clients and suppliers. Potential for promotion to Practice Manager within a few years, upon retirement of the incumbent. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills are essential. There are no required qualifications for this role, however applicants should demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office role. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
